MILWAUKEE (AP) - The last of five defendants charged in the gang killing of a Milwaukee rapper has pleaded guilty to reduced charges.

Billy Griffin had been scheduled to begin a retrial Monday in the death of Evon Young, who performed and recorded as Yung LT, after his first trial ended with a hung jury.

Instead, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports (https://bit.ly/1dEYETe ), Griffin pleaded guilty to hiding a corpse, harboring or aiding a felon, and solicitation to commit battery.

Griffin faces up to eight years in prison at sentencing March 20.

He was one of five men charged in the killing of Young on Jan. 1, 2013. Authorities say he was beaten, strangled and shot, and his body was dumped in a trash bin and set on fire. His body was never recovered.
