WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden is warning residents of an email scam that have tried to trick residents into revealing financial information.
Biden said on Monday that some residents have gotten email purporting to be from a credit union. He says the email asks the recipient to verify account activity.
In fact, Biden says, the emails are from scammers who are trying to get recipients to disclose bank account numbers and other identifying information.
Biden urges residents to ignore such emails.
