In case there was any doubt, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney reiterated on Sunday he is not gunning for the White House ever again.
“I’m not running for president,” the 2012 GOP presidential nominee told NBC’s Meet the Press. “We’ve got some very good people who are considering the race, and I’m looking forward to supporting someone who I think will have the best shot of defeating whoever it is the Democrats put up.”
Mr. Romney said by and large, people who lose presidential races need to step out of the limelight and focus on family, while finding ways to help the nation move forward.
