SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle police say a muddy, bloodied man flagged them down in a park to report he’d been run over with a bicycle and punched by a man who growled at him.

Police say the victim fought back as he was being punched and scratched, biting the attacker’s hand. That stopped the attack. The victim reports the attacker then informed him he was “the toughest guy he has ever wrestled.” With that, the attacker fled.

The unidentified victim says this all happened Tuesday morning. As he walked his dog in the park, he passed a man sitting on a bench drinking coffee. As the victim walked by, the man on the bench growled at him. Moments later, the victim says he heard a noise, turned and saw the suspect racing toward him on a bicycle.
