POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) - Jay Bowie hit the game-winner as Marist scored 5 points in the final 7 seconds to steal a 65-64 victory from Siena on Friday night.

Lavon Long made two free throws for Siena to extend its lead to 64-60 with 12 seconds to go before Chavaughn Lewis went the length of the court in only 5 seconds for a layup to cut the deficit to two.

Bowie then intercepted Brett Bisping’s inbounds pass and made a 3-pointer with 3 seconds left to win the game.

Marist (10-15, 7-8 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) trailed 62-57 when Khallid Hart made a 3-pointer with 16 seconds left.

Adam Kemp had 15 points and 15 rebounds while Hart led Marist with 16 points and three 3-pointers. Lewis added 14 points and Bowie had 10.

Marquis Wright had 20 points to lead Siena (11-15, 7-8), and Long had 13 points and 11 rebounds.
