LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Police say a man accused of shooting two women inside a metro Atlanta grocery store earlier this week is being held without bond in the Gwinnett County Jail.

Lawrenceville police Capt. Greg Vaughn told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (https://bit.ly/1kCmbYQ ) that 42-year-old Leevon Young is charged with three counts of aggravated assault and weapons violations in the Monday afternoon shooting.

Vaughn says a 66-year-old woman was wounded in her lower abdomen and a 19-year-old woman was wounded in one of her legs. Each was taken to the Gwinnett Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Police have said the store was crowded with shoppers looking to stock up on essentials as a winter storm approached the region.

Authorities haven’t disclosed a motive in the shooting and it’s unclear if Young has an attorney.
