NYON, Switzerland (AP) - Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc can take his place on the touchline for next week’s Champions League match at Bayer Leverkusen after UEFA gave him a suspended one-game ban Tuesday following an appeal by the French club.

Blanc was banned for improper conduct and fined €10,000 ($13,600) by UEFA’s control and disciplinary body. Blamed for three Champions League matches kicking off late, he was initially banned from entering the dressing room or sitting in the dugout before or during the Feb. 18 match in the last 16 of the Champions League.

UEFA’s appeals body said in a statement on Tuesday that Blanc’s suspended ban lasts for one year. The fine was upheld.

The decision is final and therefore not subject to appeal.
