‘White Privilege Conference’ teaches schools how to tear at ‘white supremacy’

A four-day conference in Madison, Wisc., using taxpayer monies, is aimed at teaching school and university staffers, students and political activists how to tear down what they call the wall of “white supremacy” that is encircling the nation.

It’s called the “White Privilege Conference,” and it’s being sponsored by the Madison Area Technical College and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, two taxpayer-supported schools, Adam Tobias with Watchdog.org originally reported.

UW-Eau Claire spokesman Michael Rindo said the university will give $2,000 for the conference, while the city of Madison reported a gift of $1,500, Breitbart.com said.

Among the topics to be covered: How to “dismantle this system of white supremacy, white privilege and oppression,” the organizing Matrix Center for the Advancement of Social Equity and Inclusion reported.

The conference isn’t new. Founder Eddie Moore Jr. has held it for 15 years, with a goal of alerting attendees that “white supremacy, white privilege, racism and other forms of oppression are designed for your destruction — designed to kill you,” he said in a 2011 posting on Minnesota’s MSR Online.

One teacher who posted anonymously on the website for the conference said she’s planning on taking what she learns to encourage her students to meditate on “how this is going to play itself out,” Breitbart reported.
