LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Yet another round of wintry weather is headed to parts of Arkansas.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for much of central, western and southeast Arkansas from 6 p.m. Monday until noon Tuesday.

Forecasters say areas could see a half-inch to 3 inches of snow, with a narrow section possibly receiving 4 inches of snow. The weather service says the snow will likely fall along the Interstate 40 corridor.

Forecasters say light wintry precipitation could happen during the day Monday but accumulating snowfall isn’t expected until the evening hours. Snow is expected to taper off around sunrise Tuesday.

But the weather service says relief is in sight after this storm. Sunny skies with temperatures in the 50s are predicted for later in the week.
