OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Oakland police say four teens have been arrested in connection with a home invasion robbery that resulted in an 81-year-old woman being shot and wounded.

Police said Monday that the four boys, ranging in age from 16 to 19, were arrested last week in Oakland. Their names have not been released as they await charges by Alameda County prosecutors.

Oakland police Capt. Sharon Williams says all four suspects have prior arrests for theft.

They are suspected of forcing their way inside the two-story home of Beverly Concannon on the morning of Jan. 28.

Police say one of the suspects shot Concannon in the shoulder while she was alone in her home in a quiet area of Oakland’s Dimond neighborhood before fleeing the scene.

Concannon was briefly hospitalized and later released.
