LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - An invitation to donors to Alison Lundergan Grimes’ Senate campaign provides details of a fundraiser with former President Bill Clinton this month.

Grimes’ campaign announced last week that Clinton would campaign with her in Louisville on Feb. 25 but didn’t describe plans.

The Courier-Journal (https://cjky.it/1giW8Sw ) reports an email to donors Monday said contributors giving $500 will get lunch, $1,000 donors also get access to a rope line, a $2,600 donation adds access to a reception with Clinton and $5,200 donors will receive a “special commemorative gift.”

Grimes’ father, former state Democratic Chairman Jerry Lundergan, has been friends with Clinton for years.

She is the Democratic front-runner in the primary. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who is seeking a sixth term, is being challenged in the GOP primary by Louisville businessman Matt Bevin.
