LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found beneath Interstate 440 between downtown Little Rock and the city’s airport.

Troopers said Monday that people riding on trails under the elevated freeway saw the frozen body on Sunday.

State police identified the man as 55-year-old Ronald Edmondson of Little Rock.

Investigators said the body was sent to the state Crime Laboratory to determine a cause of death.

The body was found near the Springer Boulevard interchange.
