NEW YORK (AP) - Some of New York City’s leading politicians celebrated Super Bowl silliness by riding down a giant slide set up in Times Square with the NFL commissioner and the owners of the Jets and Giants.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer grabbed plastic toboggans Saturday for a race down the ramp with Commissioner Roger Goodell, the Jets’ Woody Johnson and the Giants’ Jonathan Tisch.

Beforehand, Schumer did a little trash talking.

He called New Jersey, where the game is being played, “a very good suburb for New York.”

Johnson reminded the senator that both he and Tisch were both born in New Jersey.

Goodell was the first to the bottom.
