LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Mike Caffey scored 23 points and Tyler Lamb added 18 as Long Beach defeated Cal State Fullerton 75-56 on Saturday night.

The 49ers (9-12, 5-2) remained tied atop the Big West standings with their fourth consecutive victory.

Michael Williams scored 18 points, reaching double figures for the 20th straight game, and Alex Harris added 16 for the Titans (7-13, 2-4), who have dropped four of their last five games.

The Titans trailed by 17 points in the second half before using full-court pressure to close within 55-45 with 9:30 left. The Titans were down 11 with 2:56 to play before the 49ers went on a 6-0 run to ensure the victory.

The 49ers made 27 of 49 shots from the floor for 55.1 percent. Caffey reached 20 points for the fourth time in five games.

The Titans made just 20 of 64 shots for 31.3 percent.
