COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - There’s a big rummage roundup going on in Columbia this weekend.

The Junior League of Columbia holds its 17th annual Clean Sweep sale on Saturday at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. Doors open at 8 a.m.

Many of the items featured at the sale are donated by League members and include books, music, games, children’s toys and clothing, maternity clothing, furniture and house wares.

Proceeds from the sale support the Junior League of Columbia’s mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers and community projects.
