With several players’ availability for the game against St. Louis still uncertain, the Washington Redskins made a handful of roster moves Saturday to shore up any potential shortcomings.

Outside linebacker Gabe Miller and cornerback Kenny Okoro were each signed off the Redskins’ practice squad, while the team waived wide receiver Aldrick Robinson and placed cornerback Chase Minnifield on injured reserve.

Robinson, who returned to the Redskins on a one-year contract as an exclusive rights free agent in February, played only 25 snaps on offense this season and was inactive for the team’s last seven games. He had one catch — a six-yard grab in the game against Jacksonville on Sept. 14 — and fell behind Santana Moss on the depth chart, primarily for special teams reasons.

Minnifield sustained a concussion in the Redskins’ loss at Indianapolis on Nov. 30 and was unable to practice at any point in the last three games. On and off the practice squad this year, Minnifield, in his third season, played in seven games and had four tackles.

Miller returns to the 53-man roster after spending nine weeks on the practice squad, having made the team out of preseason and playing in four games. He will see action on special teams, with inside linebacker Keenan Robinson unable to play on Sunday because of a sprained MCL in his left knee and Will Compton filling Robinson’s role as the starting mike linebacker.

Okoro, a high school teammate of cornerback David Amerson, was signed to the practice squad on Nov. 26. Undrafted out of Wake Forest in 2013, Okoro spent that summer in San Diego before being waived early in training camp, then played 11 games with San Jose of the Arena Football League this summer.
