NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) — Missouri currently has the cheapest gas prices going at $2.41 on average, but in Natchitoches, it was even cheaper.

KSLA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1yj1NOM ) lines backed up to the highway at a Chevron gas station Wednesday before the pricing problem was noticed.

One lucky customer says he filled his truck up for about $3. All because it only cost 29 cents a gallon to fill up with supreme. A steady stream of customers took advantage and filled up vehicles, gas cans and boats.

Chevron attendant Briana Rachal says the pumps went haywire, and there’s no other explanation for why the prices were so low.

The gas station was not sure how many gallons were pumped before the mistake was noticed, and it is unclear how much money the mistake cost the business.
