Police in the United Kingdom have arrested seven individuals who are believed to be tied to terrorism offenses.

Five were taken into custody in Wales and the other two, in London, The Associated press reported.

Welsh police told the press that the suspects they arrested have been accused of supporting banned organizations, AP said. Few details are known about the suspects.

London police did say that their two arrested individuals — men, ages 33 and 40 — were suspected of being involved in terrorism acts and accused of conspiracy to pass fraudulent documents, AP reported.

The arrested come at a time when British police are trying to deal with a rising number of citizens joining the Islamic State, a terror group.
