LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — U.S. Sens. Mark Pryor and John Boozman of Arkansas have introduced an Arkansan as a nominee to a post on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Constance Honorable was introduced Thursday to members of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.

Honorable has served as chairman of the Arkansas Public Services Commission since being appointed by Gov. Mike Beebe in 2007. She previously was executive director of the Arkansas Workforce Investment Board.

She is a native of Little Rock who received her undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law.
