The riots in Ferguson, Missouri, following the grand jury’s decision not to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting and death of Michael Brown was expected by many. There was utter chaos on the streets of Ferguson because many apparently believed the decision reflected racism.

The violence on the streets of Ferguson and other U.S. cities can never be condoned. We know many were outraged at Michael Brown’s death, but why are they at the same time silent when it comes to abortion, the leading cause of death of black Americans in this nation? Where are those leaders of the African-American community when it comes to calling for an end to abortion?

The abortion industry is known to put many of its killing facilities in places where the minority population is high. Some believe a stealth genocide is taking place. So please, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, lead the way in ending this. If so many are angry when police officers shoot black Americans, don’t be silent when it comes to the predominantly white abortion industry being hired to kill unborn black babies. This is something pro-lifers want an answer to.

It’s time for peaceful protests in the African-American community to stop abortion. President Obama, where are you on this? It’s time for you to earn that Nobel Peace Prize — and you can do it by stopping the violence of abortion, not supporting it as a “right.”
