New York — The stage is set for one of the last acts defining President Obama’s foreign policy legacy — with the opening of the long awaited trial against Egypt’s ousted leader Mohamed Morsi Thursday morning in Cairo, soon the world may learn in stark detail just how duplicitous the Obama administration has been in pretending to work assiduously against radical jihadist Islamists since Jan. 20, 2009.
Bigger than Benghazi
Bad as events in Benghazi seem in 2014, the continuing perversion of this country’s true best interests by political appointees and cronies who still support the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and elsewhere is a story that likely will be told, in rich, and incriminating detail.
You will never win a war by counting true enemies as fast friends — the Muslim Brotherhood, Qatar and Qatar-sponsored entities that continue supporting the Muslim Brotherhood certainly are not steadfast allies of the United States, though the Obama Administration and Obama supporters protest otherwise.
The Muslim Brotherhood never was “largely a secular organization” as the U.S. Director of National Intelligence testified in 2011 — it is a Muslim supremacist and terrorist organization.

The Muslim Brotherhood, to this day, vehemently rejects the approach now taken by Egypt’s current leader, Abdel Fatteh el-Sisi, that effectively exonerated former President Hosni Mubarak, and continues relentlessly to target Mr. Morsi and numerous associates.
Egypt correctly regards The Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
Saudi Arabia and The United Arab Emirates unambiguously proclaim The Muslim Brotherhood to be a terrorist organization — and these nations are unlikely to be fooled by sweet sounding false translations into English of diabolical and evil statements made in the original Arabic language.
Yet, even now, the Obama administration refuses to recognize a truth that will be proven plainly as the Morsi trial follows its inevitable course in Cairo.
Why does any of this matter now?
Americans are tired of being ’Grubered’
Every time State Department spokespersons such as Jen Psaki and Marie Harf speak down to press questioners and to the American people as if we are kindergarten students and they are wise beyond words, all I can conclude is that President Obama and most in his administration have forgotten who works for whom.
The truth may hurt, and it may be complicated, but the American public certainly deserves to know exactly what progress or lack of progress this nation actually has made in the longest and least well defined war in this nation’s, until recently, storied history.
With Obamacare, Lois Lerner, and the veterans to pick just three scandals that are quite real and ongoing, the American public and perhaps even the mainstream American media are ready to look back at the timeline of events in Egypt.
Even before we add developments starting tomorrow in Cairo, it is an ugly picture.
Ignoring what the Obama administration, Code Pink, and Bill Ayers may have been doing before 2012, by June 29, 2012, Mr. Morsi was making extravagant promises to the Egyptians concerning his efforts to win release from prison of the man who still takes unabashed credit for the first bombing of New York’s World Trade Center on Feb. 26, 1993 — Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman.
This fact certainly would not sit well with the American electorate if widely known in weeks and months culminating with the Presidential election contest held Nov. 6, 2012.
After the election was over, we learned in 2013 that Huma Abedin, long-time confidante of then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, had been receiving compensation from three employers in addition to the U.S. State Department while supposedly performing work on behalf of American citizens starting right around the time Morsi assumed office.
In July 2012, those who correctly asked questions about Huma Abedin’s origins, interests, beliefs, and loyalties were skewered by many on the left and in the mainstream press — but that was before so many Obama administration “truths” were exposed as bold-faced lies.
In theory, employees acting on behalf of foreign interests are supposed to register with the Department of Justice. Ms. Abedin did not register as such and may well have believed she was not acting in such a capacity.
However, how do you think clearly about organizations such as the Clinton Foundation that are so dependent upon contributions and so unwilling to be wholly forthcoming concerning the true identity and ultimate funding sources of key donors?
And what, exactly, did Teneo Corporation do for whom to leap into prominence and acquire so many clients with so little private sector experience in such a short time?
Who was paramount Master for Huma Abedin?
What would a rigorous analysis of all email, text message, and voice traffic show among Huma Abedin, associates at Teneo Corporation, associates at the (then-named) William Jefferson Clinton Foundation, the Clintons, the Egyptian government, and the Muslim Brotherhood from June 29-Sept. 11, 2012 and on past the American election?
We know that Mr. Morsi only got more militant after June 29, 2012, acting in ways that, if then understood here at home, would have disproven Mr. Obama’s competence claims when it came to protecting America’s foreign interests.
We know the Muslim Brotherhood vigorously protested the pathetically produced cartoon trailer which certainly was not the prime animator of dread events on Sep. 11, 2012 in Libya.
We know that Mr. Morsi gave his first major speech on foreign soil in New York on Sept. 25, 2012 before the Clinton Global Initiative and that he gave an even more inflammatory speech before the United Nations on Sept. 26, 2012.
We also know that, after the 2012 election here, Mr. Morsi moved even more aggressively against his opponents in Egypt, ultimately triggering his own downfall there.
What we do not know yet, is what role Ms. Abedin, the Clintons, Teneo Corporation and the Clinton Foundation played in managing Mr. Morsi so that he did not erupt as a toxic, election-losing liability to the Obama administration between June 29 to Nov. 6, 2012.
This may change as the mainstream press around the world uncovers new and relevant nuggets of information coming out of the Morsi and co-defendant trial transcripts.
