Texas Gov. Rick Perry will join a who’s who of national conservative figures next month at the inaugural “Iowa Freedom Summit” hosted by GOP Rep. Steve King and Citizens United, the Des Moines Register reported.

Mr. Perry has been strongly hinting at another presidential run in 2016, and the Jan. 24 event will give the soon-to-be former governor a chance to make another trip to the early presidential state.

Others scheduled to attend are Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
