Boxing legend Muhammad Ali is recovering after being hospitalized a couple days ago for a bout with pneumonia.
Mr. Ali, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s syndrome in 1984, was reportedly admitted to the hospital Saturday with what those close to the family say was a “mild case” of pneumonia.
The 72-year-old has “vastly improved,” a spokesman for the boxing great told the New York Daily News in an email Monday.
“Ali’s team of doctors hopes to discharge him soon,” the spokesman said, the newspaper reported.
