Boston Red Sox owner John W. Henry is facing a lawsuit over a woman who fell down an elevator shaft at Fenway Park.

Mr. Henry’s Fenway Sports Group and the Otis Elevator Co. of Farmington, Connecticut, are being sued by Elisabeth Scotland, of Brigantine, New Jersey, over charges that the Fenway Park elevator she was in during the season opened when she brushed against it, The Associated Press reported Thursday. The lawsuit was filed in Superior Court in Boston.

The 22-year-old woman is seeking unspecified damages for traumatic brain injury, spinal injuries, facial fractures and dental damage for her two-story fall, AP reported.

A Fenway Park spokesperson and officials for Otis Elevator declined to comment on the lawsuit for AP’s story.
