Washington Wizards forward Paul Pierce will not play Tuesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves because of a sore right toe.
Pierce left the Dec. 3 game against the Los Angeles Lakers because of the toe injury. Pierce said at the time it had been bothering him, then was stepped on during that game.
Pierce had not missed a game this season. Otto Porter will start in his place against Minnesota.
