A University of Michigan student’s apartment was vandalized after he penned a conservative opinion piece for the school newspaper that poked fun at political correctness.

Omar Mahmood wrote a satirical piece for The Michigan Daily in which he pretended to be a left-handed person complaining about right-handed people — with the undercutting message being a mock of liberals who zealously declare victimization, The College Fix reported.

Both readers and Michigan Daily writers were outraged. One member of The Michigan Daily staff complained — anonymously — and Mr. Mahmood was subsequently fired, The Daily Caller said.

But the issue was far from ended.

Mr. Mahmood then returned to his apartment and found it vandalized with eggs, hot dogs and pictures of Satan, The Daily Caller said. The aggressors had also put up messages that read, “Everyone hates you, you violence [expletive],” and “Shut the [expletive] up.”

The vandals were captured on security cameras — and The College Fix identified them as four women in hoodies.
