A Philadelphia city councilman is backing up his rage-filled tweets toward New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who dared to sit next to the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones, during their game Sunday against the Eagles.
“Chris Christie is sitting on his very fat ass next to Jerry Jones in his box at the [Lincoln Financial Field]. You suck! Kissing Texas ass for 2016! Awful!” Councilman Jim Kenney, a Democrat, tweeted to his 5,300 followers Sunday night, a local CBS affiliate first reported.
“Hey fat assed Christie, kiss Jerry Jones’ ass in his box in Dallas. Not across the river from Philly! You are just a creep!” he added.
In another tweet, the councilman called Mr. Christie a “creep” and told him to “go home.”
Mr. Kenney told KYW Newsradio Monday morning that he has no regrets slamming the Republican governor.
“When you’re across the river from Philadelphia as a neighbor, you should have a little more common sense and a little more respect for the rest of us,” he said.
And about using the term “fat ass,” Mr. Kenney answered: “I have a big nose. He’s got a fat ass. It’s what life deals you.”
