The top Google search term for 2014 goes to — Robin Williams, the Hollywood actor and comedian who took his own life in August.

That’s according to Google’s annual breakdown of what people of the world most frequently search online. Williams’ death, the 2014 fastest-rising search request, beat out the World Cup, the Ebola outbreak and the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappearance mystery — as well as the Ice Bucket Challenge.

Other top terms for the year: “Flappy Bird,” the addictive smartphone game; ISIS, the Middle Eastern terrorist organization; Conchita Wurst, the bearded drag queen; the Winter Olympics in Russia; and the hit Disney movie, “Frozen.”

Williams’ suicide, the World Cup and the Ice Bucket craze also topped Facebook ratings as that social media outlet’s most discussed topics for the year, CBS News reported.
