WASHINGTON — Aaron Bowen scored 16 points and Paul White added 12 to lead a strong performance by Georgetown’s reserves, leading the Hoyas to a 76-49 win over Radford on Saturday.

With Bowen, a senior, reaching a career high, and White, a freshman, one short of matching his best, the Hoyas (6-3) got 42 points from their backups.

Javonte Green had 15 points and Rashun Davis 12 for the Highlanders (5-4).

Georgetown hit 10 of 11 free throws in the first half and opened a 29-18 lead. Radford was 8 of 9 for the game.

In the second half the Hoyas shot 50 percent, including 6 of 13 on 3-pointers, to pull away.

Mikael Hopkins had seven rebounds as Georgetown dominated the boards 40-22. D’Vantes Smith-Rivera had six of the Hoyas’ 19 assists to go with nine points, five rebounds and three steals.
