Terrell Doss, 28, of Ferguson, Missouri, was formally charged with two counts of assault on law enforcement after he allegedly fired a gun at a St. Louis County Police helicopter carrying a couple of officers.

Two officers were inside the craft at the time of shooting on Aug. 10, a day after teen Michael Brown was shot and killed by then-Officer Darren Wilson, KSDK reported. They were not injured, and the helicopter was not hit.

Mr. Doss was also charged with a count of assault in the first degree and three counts of armed criminal action.

He was arrested on Dec. 1 and given a $100,000 bond, KDSK reported.
