An adult film company in Canada has opened a new training site, the Porn Academy, to provide recruits and the otherwise inexperienced with a how-to course on having sex on camera.

Pegas Productions says it stumbled across the idea after watching a new actor suffer a crisis of anxiety on set, United Press International reported.

“He was nervous, and under a lot of pressure,” Pegas producer Nicola Lafleur said in the UPI report. “Perhaps if our course had been around, he would have felt more comfortable.”

Those attending the class are taught about business basics, provided with access to actual porn stars, and given the chance to check out studio lights and camera equipment, UPI said.
