The free market has spoken, and it favors gun rights over progressive policy — at least when it comes to buying books on Amazon, that is.
That’s one message that could be taken away from the fact that Amazon at one recent point in time listed “My Parents Open Carry,” a book for children that cites why the Second Amendment is necessary for self-defense, with sales that were three times higher than Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s “A Fighting Chance,” Breitbart reported.
The kids’ book recently ranked 428 compared to Ms. Warren’s tome, at 1,504.
Authors Brian G. Jeffs and Nathan R. Nephew wrote the Second Amendment book to provide a “basic overview of the right to keep and bear arms, as well as the growing practice of the open carry of a handgun,” Breitbart reported. “[It is] a wholesome family book that reflects the views of the majority of the American people, i.e. that self defense is a basic natural right and that firearms provide the most efficient means for that defense.”
Ms. Warren’s book, by contrast, looks at her personal efforts “to fight tooth and nail for the middle class,” Breitbart reported.
“My Parents Open Carry” was released Feb. 18. Ms. Warren’s book was released April 22.
