Divers have pulled the bodies of four drowned family members — a mother, 42, her two children and a grandchild, 3 — from a reservoir located just outside Portland, Oregon.
The grandchild’s body was found Monday; the other three bodies were pulled out Tuesday, CBS News reported.
Investigators don’t suspect foul play.
The woman was named Jova Ixtacua-Castano, sheriff’s deputies said, CBS News reported. Her children were Gabriela Garcia-Ixtacua, 25, and Michael Garcia-Ixtacua, 13. Sheriff deputies reported that Gabriela was the mother of Jeremy Scholl, 3, found a day earlier in the Henry Hagg Lake waters.
A witness reported to KOIN in Portland that the child was floating unconscious in the water and that emergency responders were called and tried to revive him. The boy died at the scene, CBS News reported.
Rescue workers then searched for the boy’s family.
The lake is a frequent tourist attraction, drawing 800,000 visitors a year — and 6,000 a day during busy season, CBS News reported.
