Fox News’ Andrea Tantaros didn’t pull any punches when assessing Attorney General Eric Holder’s response to the chaos in Ferguson, Missouri, saying the nation’s highest law enforcer was behaving and leading “like the Black Panthers would.”

During a Friday segment on Fox’s “The Five,” Ms. Tantaros also criticized the general news coverage of the fatal police shooting of black teenager Michael Brown for “blowing up what, in their minds, is a white-on-black incident.”

The Justice Department is “pushing this entire thing,” she said. “Eric Holder is one of the biggest race-baiters in this entire country. He runs the DOJ like the Black Panthers would.”

Ms. Tantaros defended her statement by recalling a 2009 speech by Mr. Holder when he derided America as a “nation of cowards” when discussing race-related issues.

“A nation of cowards? He said a nation of cowards,” she said. “You know … the 350,000 people that died in the Civil War? I think that they… they’re probably not cowards.”
