A Manhattan man was arrested after he sneaked past security and climbed a cable beam on the Brooklyn Bridge — the second security breach at the bridge in less than a month.

Yarolslav Kolchin, 24, managed on Sunday to reach the top of the tower, where he was spotted taking photographs with his smartphone, MyFoxNewYork.com reported. Aviation and harbor units responded to the scene, and officers apprehended him when he descended, the news outlet said,

He was charged with reckless endangerment, criminal trespass and other unnamed charges, MyFoxNewYork.com reported.

On July 22, security officers for the bridge were embarrassed after a breach left two American flags replaced with white ones — the international sign of surrender.
