Author and famed neurosurgeon Ben Carson told a national television audience that it’s getting tough to tell the difference between Republicans and Democrats — and that many GOPers are sadly acting like their liberal counterparts.
“A lot of [Republicans] who are running are just like the Democrats,” Mr. Carson said, during a televised interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News. “They put the finger in the air and see which way the wind is blowing.”
His advice to Republicans?
“Stop worrying so much about what the press is going to say about you,” he suggested, Breitbart reported. “What I say is if those people aren’t saying bad things about you, you probably aren’t doing anything.”
Mr. Carson has been talked about as a solid Republican candidate for president in 2016. He’s not yet decided to run, but said on Fox News that if he does, he will “simply continue to talk about the things that need to be done” rather than engage in “tit for tat” politics with the competition, Breitbart reported.
