Chocoholic Rep. Nancy Pelosi is using her sweet expertise to judge desserts on a TLC baking show this week.

The California Democrat will be a guest judge on an episode of TLC’s “Next Great Baker” Tuesday night, the Huffington Post reported.

Contestants on the show bake their best confections, competing to impress the judges and be the last baker standing.

“As a fellow Italian-American and a dark chocoholic, it was an honor to visit Buddy’s cake factory and be a guest judge on Next Great Baker,” Mrs. Pelosi said in a statement, according to Huffington Post. “It was a delicious experience.”

Mrs. Pelosi will join the three permanent judges for this season: chocolatier Jacques Torres, Magnolia Bakery chief baker Bobbie Lloyd and Buddy Valastro, made famous on his own TLC reality show “Cake Boss.” Four teams remain in the competition, according to TLC’s website.

The winning team gets $100,000 and a chance to work with Mr. Valastro at his bakery in Las Vegas, according to The Wrap.
