TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A man accused in a 2012 home invasion in Tucson has been sentenced to 7½ years in prison.

Pima County prosecutors say 28-year-old Dominique Tyron Dixon pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous drug in two separate cases.

In the aggravated assault case, Dixon was accused with two other men of forcing his way into a Tucson house and attacking the homeowner and demanding money.

Dixon received 7½ years in prison Wednesday for each of the aggravated assault charges and another 2½ years for the drug charges. Both sentences will be served concurrently.
