ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta Braves officials say they’re moving a fireworks show to a new location after an American flag was burned during a display at Turner Field.

Braves spokeswoman Beth Marshall told local news media organizations that the team was trying out a new location for a pyrotechnic show Tuesday when sparks burned holes through an American flag flying near the display.

Marshall says the flag was made of flame-retardant material and didn’t catch fire, but had to be replaced because of the holes. Marshall says the Braves will no longer set off fireworks at the same location.
