DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) - Authorities arrested a Devils Lake man on multiple charges following an hour-long high-speed chase in the area.

Authorities tell KZZY radio that the Tuesday morning chase reached speeds of 115 mph, and that about $2,600 dollars in damage was done to the vehicle the 33-year-old suspect had borrowed from a friend and was driving.

The pursuit began in Devils Lake and ended near Crary when the man traveled down a dead-end road. The suspect told police he fled because he had outstanding warrants.

The man was arrested on charges including fleeing, driving under the influence and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Court documents did not immediately list formal charges.
