SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - City of Savannah officials say they’re now posting requests for public records online.
Savannah city spokeswoman Saja Aures tells the Savannah Morning News (https://bit.ly/1n0k3J1 ) city officials plan to post records requests on the city’s Website each quarter to show people what kind of information is being requested, and what kinds of records are available.
The first batch of requests were posted late last week and include the first and last name of the requester, and the city and state the request is being made from.
City officials have said they eventually plan to begin posting the requested records online as well to avoid having to respond to multiple requests for the same information.
