SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - A massive fire that destroyed a home and damaged two others in West San Jose on Monday has been ruled accidental.

San Jose Fire Department Capt. Cleo Doss says all the available evidence indicates that the blaze, which burned three homes in a residential area near Westgate Shopping Center, was not the work of an arsonist.

The San Jose Mercury News reports (https://bit.ly/1gJcLnz ) that the exact cause of the fire is still unknown.
