Pedestrian struck, killed by train in Del.

NEWPORT, Del. (AP) - Delaware State police say a pedestrian was struck and killed by an Amtrak train near Newport.

It happened shortly before noon Tuesday near Meco Drive.

Troopers say an Amtrak Acela train hit the pedestrian. Police are investigating the incident.
