METAIRIE, La. (AP) - Pelicans coach Monty Williams does not expect guard Eric Gordon to play in any of New Orleans’ final five games this season.

Gordon has been sidelined with knee tendinitis since leaving a game against Atlanta on March 21.

Williams says Gordon’s left knee will continue to be evaluated but he doubts Gordon will play again before New Orleans’ April 16 regular-season finale against Houston.

Gordon has averaged 15.4 points and 3.3 assists in 64 games, more than he’s played in his previous two seasons in New Orleans.

The Pelicans play Wednesday night against Phoenix in what is expected to be New Orleans’ 10th straight game without Gordon.
