SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) - One of two men charged in the murder of a man found shot to death in his sport utility vehicle in a northeastern Pennsylvania ravine last summer is seeking a separate trial.

The (Scranton) Times-Tribune (https://bit.ly/1g3xaUS ) reports that attorneys for 23-year-old Neil Pal filed a motion to sever his trial from that of 23-year-old Jason Dominick in Lackawanna County Court.

The motion filed Monday cites testimony by a Monroe County Correctional Facility inmate who alleges that Dominick talked about the crime and also talked about Pal, which Pal’s attorneys argue would be inadmissible against their client.

Dominick’s attorneys have asked a judge to bar prosecutors from using the inmate’s testimony.

Prosecutors allege that Bonacci was killed following an all-night party at Pal’s house.
