ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - The FBI says a 34-year-old northwestern New Mexico man wanted in a 2013 fatal stabbing on the Navajo Nation is in custody after turning himself in.

The FBI says Shain Mark surrendered Friday at the federal courthouse in Albuquerque.

He was sought in the killing of 33-year-old Shawn Nez, whose body was found next to Highway 491 near Shiprock on Oct. 25.

According to the FBI, Mark most recently lived in Shiprock.
