ROGERS, Ark. (AP) - Hobbs State Park at Rogers is planning several free events to mark Earth Day 2014 on April 22.

The day was first celebrated in 1970 and focuses on the environment.

Earth Day activities at Hobbs State Park will include Birds & Breakfast at the visitor center; a reading at the visitor center; a hike on Bashore Ridge Trail; a discussion on building backyard habitats; and a cruise on Beaver Lake.
