BELMONT, N.H. (AP) - A fire has destroyed a barn in Belmont, N.H., that was built in the 1800s and contained about 2,000 bales of hay.

No injuries were reported in the fire at the barn Sunday. The cause is under investigation.

Firefighters were able to keep the fire at the Weeks Farm from spreading to neighboring homes.

Weeks said the barn was formerly a saw mill used in the late 1800s and early 1900s. It also had been used to house pigs.
