LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Strong pitching by Cameron Allen and a five-run fourth inning lifted Arkansas-Little Rock to a 9-2 win over Georgia State in Sun Belt Conference baseball in Little Rock.
Allen threw a complete game five-hitter with a career-high nine strikeouts for the win Sunday and to improve to 3-2 on the season. Tyler McClure took the loss for Georgia State to fall to 2-5.
UALR took two of three games during the weekend and is now 13-16 overall and 3-9 in the Sun Belt. Georgia State drops to 15-18 on the season and 4-8 in conference play.
