COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - The George H.W. Bush Presidential Library is holding a weekend of special events to mark the 25th anniversary of the start of the first Bush presidency.
Former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates will join other Bush administration officials and a bipartisan roster of congressional, diplomatic and media figures in a series of panel discussions. Those panels will discuss administration achievements and changes in the world of which it was part.
Event attendance is by invitation only, but live video streams of all panels will be available at www.celebratebush25.com .
